MAJOR: Industrial and Systems Engineering
ACTIVITIES AT AUBURN: Tri Sigma, Tiger Splasher, Tiger Rhythm, Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers
WHY DID YOU CHOSE AUBURN? Moving to Alabama at a young age, I saw both of my brothers attend Auburn and study Industrial and Systems Engineering. When making the decision of which school to go to, I did many tours but nothing felt as close to home as Auburn did. With the great engineering program and the lively atmosphere, I decided to follow along the footsteps of my older brothers and attend Auburn.
WHY DO YOU LOVE AUBURN? I love Auburn because it provides endless opportunities to define yourself and surround yourself with communities who push you towards excellence. Throughout my time at Auburn, I took part in many organizations and I had a variety of experiences. Within each of those, I was continuously welcomed by amazing people who strived for greatness. This common theme has proven true even in my Auburn connections post grad, and it makes me love Auburn even more. I fully believe in the Auburn Family, and I love it.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE AUBURN MEMORY? My favorite memory at Auburn was in 2019 when I got to rush the field at Jordan Hare Stadium after beating Alabama! It was a goal of mine in college to do, and I will never forget the feeling of rushing the field that night.
WHAT’S A FUN FACT ABOUT YOU? A fun fact about me is that during my time in Auburn, I actually spent a year living in Tuscaloosa! In college, I took part in the COOP program where I got a job and had to live in Tuscaloosa for a year. It was very odd living in our rivals territory, but it grew my love in Auburn just that much more! War Eagle!

ATHLETICS AND ACTIVITIES AT AUBURN: Auburn Swimming and Diving Team, International Textile and Apparel Association, Treasurer of the International Textile and Apparel Association
WHY DID YOU CHOSE AUBURN? I was a diver and wanted to go to the best swimming and diving school and one that was going to help me prepare for my hopes of making the Olympics! I went on 5 official recruiting trips and 1 unofficial. The weekend of my recruiting trip to Auburn there was a hurricane and so plans changed a tad but thank goodness I was still able to go. It was 2004 and the LSU football game. Not only did the swimmers and divers receive NCAA Championship rings but the game was AUsome. I called my parents that night and told them I was going to Auburn. It was my FIRST recruiting trip and I still was obsessed after months of other trips. Auburn felt like HOME immediately and 20 years later that feelings hasn’t changed!
WHY DO YOU LOVE AUBURN? Where to even begin? Auburn is home in every sense of the word! The Auburn Family is like no other, full of passion, tradition, and community that’s truly one of a kind. From the moment you step on The Plains, it feels like where you’re meant to be, no matter how many times you return. Auburn gave me lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and even my husband, and that’s why it will always hold my heart! “And because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.” Learn about the Auburn Creed here!
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE AUBURN MEMORY? Winning NCAA Swimming and Diving National Championship, rolling Toomer’s after the team got back from NCAAs, getting to take a private plane to Washington D.C. with the swimming and diving team and meet President Bush after winning NCAAs, rushing the field after the 2013 Iron Bowl aka the “Kick Six”, and best of all meeting my husband (aka the GHAC Treasure) and marrying him in 2012 in Auburn!
WHAT’S A FUN FACT ABOUT YOU? I taught myself how to swim when I was 2 years old and was on my summer league swim team when I turned 3. I’ve always belonged in the water!
